Suitable applications for thickness:

Steel Water Ripple Ceiling Installation

Step 1: Keel construction

Main keel: Use C38 light steel keel, spacing ≤1200mm (exceeding this value may cause the board surface to sink and deform), and fix the hanger with expansion bolts (round steel with a diameter ≥8mm);

Secondary keel: Install with the same width as the board, and use connectors to straighten and fix when continuing to ensure that the flatness error is ≤2mm/㎡;

Side keel: Fix 25×25mm painted keel around the wall, and the spacing of cement nails is ≤300mm.

Step 2: Plate installation

Benchmark positioning: Draw the reference line vertically from the center of the room, and install symmetrically in both directions;

Snap-on skills: Lightly press the plate flange and snap it into the keel in sequence (avoid brute force), push it tightly and check if it is loose;

Flatness control: Use a laser level to check every 3㎡ installed, and the gap deviation is ≤0.5mm.

Tips：

After installation, use a neutral detergent + fiber cloth to wipe in one direction (parallel to the wave direction)

If large lamps/equipment need to be carried, an independent hanger must be built, and it is prohibited to hang it directly on the keel (the load must be ≤1.5kg/㎡)

Steel Water Ripple Wall Installation

Structural adhesive (applicable to thin plates)

Applicable scenarios: small-sized plates with a thickness of ≤1.2mm, partial decoration of background walls

Keel hook: (more popular)

The hanging method of water ripple stainless steel plates is generally hanging pins or angle brackets. For smaller water wave , hanging pins are recommended. For large water corrugated stainless steel plates, angle brackets should be used.

Honeycomb composite panels (preferred for high-end projects)

If honeycomb panels （ three-layer structure. The front panel is a water ripple stainless steel plate, the back panel is a stainless steel plate, and the middle honeycomb core is composed of the three materials. The three materials are extruded and compounded, so the effect is very strong and flat.）are used for composite installation, it is necessary to measure the site, customize the water corrugated board workpiece according to the size, make the skeleton base on site, and then hang it for installation.

Maintenance

The water corrugated board is easy to clean. If it is dusty, you can just wipe it with a rag.

If there are stains, just clean it with clean water. It is not suitable to use detergents containing chemicals to avoid damaging the surface treatment layer.

Avoid sharp objects or hard objects hitting the board surface to avoid scratches or dents.
